FAQ

Questions Before You Start

See the FAQ
Which service is right for me: Custom Software, AI Solutions, Project Outsourcing, or Dedicated Teams?

Start with two questions. **Do you already know exactly what to build?** If not, DESOL proposes the solution: choose Custom Software if your system needs to be built or changed, or AI Solutions if your system stays as it is and AI takes over repetitive work. If you already have a specification or a backlog, ask: **Who runs the work day to day?** DESOL, for a fixed scope → Project Outsourcing (a fixed-price project to your specification). Your team → Dedicated Teams (engineers who join your team).

How is the cost calculated?

Each project phase is priced separately, based on the required roles and our published rates. The price is agreed upon before work begins. Dedicated Teams are billed monthly per engineer, based on role and seniority, starting at $12 per hour. Any work outside the agreed scope is estimated hourly and requires your approval before it begins.

Are the free prototype, spec review, assessment and AI demo really free?

Yes. You see the prototype, the reviewed specification and quote, the assessment report or the AI demo first, with no obligation to continue. If you want a full design you can use with any team, that is Design Only: a fixed price, fully credited if DESOL builds it.

How quickly can we start?

Software prototypes take 5–7 working days, a specification review and fixed quote 2 weeks, engineer profiles 3 working days, and AI demos 5 working days.

Who owns the source code and documents?

Source code, documentation and data become fully yours once the work is paid in full. You are free to operate or develop them further yourself.

Which languages and time zone do you work in?

Our team works in English, Japanese, and Vietnamese, from GMT+7, with working hours that overlap with yours for meetings and demos.
